In the spreadsheet below you will find all positions we currently hold for TheStrangle. Each position shows the basic instrument (the stock on which we bought Calls & Puts), the expiration date, the number of contracts (#), the price we paid (Price in), current price, value of each position and the total development of each strangle in percent.
For simplicity reasons we try to invest around 2.000 $ in each Strangle and we try to find Calls and Puts where we can split the amount 50/50. In reality many traders will buy much bigger positions but we have to stick with one size so the results are comparable.
These prices will not be updated daily: We have not found yet a solution that automatically fills our spreeadsheet with the current option prices. We update the prices manually from time to time AND if a stock makes a major move. So please understand, that this overview might contain prices which are some days old.
Some positions might be are 50% closed: On some positions you will see a date in the column "Day out". This happens, when a stock moves heavy in one direction and we close the Call or Put but have the other side of the trade still open.
